Whalemap Terms of Use
Version 1.0. Last revised: 20 October 2026.
The website at https://whalemap.io (the Site) is owned and operated by 4F TECH LLC, mailing address: 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #23516, Casper, WY 82609, United States, trading as Whalemap (Whalemap, we, us, our). These Terms govern access to the Site and its Bitcoin analytics and charting tools. Additional terms apply only where clearly presented for a particular feature.
By accepting these Terms, you agree on behalf of yourself or an entity you are authorised to represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement.
1. Accounts and waitlist
1.1 Creating an account
Some features require an account and an invitation. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Email authentication uses a one-time code sent to your email; Whalemap does not require a password. Google sign-in is an optional authentication method and does not bypass invitation or waitlist restrictions.
Joining the waitlist requests access; it does not guarantee admission, a launch date or a particular feature. It does not authorise a charge. You can request removal from the waitlist or closure of your account at [email protected].
1.2 Account security
Protect access to your email and connected Google account, and do not share verification codes or sessions. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. This clause does not exclude responsibility we have under applicable law.
2. Access to the Site
2.1 Licence
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Site for your own lawful analysis, including internal business analysis. This does not grant a right to resell the service or redistribute datasets commercially. Separately licensed software or data remains governed by its own licence.
2.2 Restrictions
Do not bypass authentication or access limits, access another person's account without permission, disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, infringe rights, or copy and commercially redistribute protected content without permission. These restrictions do not prohibit activity permitted by applicable law or an express licence, including rights relating to open-source software or public blockchain data.
2.3 Changes and early access
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. Early-access features may be incomplete or experimental; some interface elements are previews. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practical and required by law. No service-level or support-response guarantee is provided unless separately agreed.
2.4 Local workspaces
Workspaces, chart settings and drawings are currently stored in your browser, rather than a cloud-synchronised workspace service. Clearing browser storage, changing devices or losing browser data may remove them. Do not rely on the current product as your only record of important information.
2.5 Ownership and feedback
Whalemap and its licensors retain rights in the Site's software, design, branding and original content. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Public blockchain information and third-party materials remain subject to their respective rights and licences.
You retain rights in your own inputs and annotations. You permit us to process inputs transmitted to the service as necessary to provide, secure and support it, consistent with the Privacy Policy. If you voluntarily provide product feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it to improve the service. Do not include confidential third-party information in feedback.
3. Privacy and tracking
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and share personal information. Our Cookie Notice describes browser storage, authentication cookies and analytics. Read the Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice.
Accepting these Terms does not substitute for consent to optional tracking where consent is required. If these Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy about processing personal information, the Privacy Policy controls, subject to applicable law.
4. Acceptable use and third-party claims
You remain responsible for your unlawful use of the Site and infringement of other people's rights. These Terms do not impose a general obligation on you to defend or indemnify Whalemap.
5. Third-party services
The Site integrates with third-party services, including Clerk for authentication and Google when you choose Google sign-in, and may link to external content. Those providers' terms and privacy practices apply to your direct use of their services. We do not control external websites. This does not remove obligations we have for our own service or providers under applicable law.
The current product does not provide public user profiles, a social network or user-to-user messaging.
6. Analytics limitations and disclaimers
Whalemap provides information and analytical tools, not personalised investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Charts, indicators, hypothetical positions and backtests are not recommendations or guarantees of returns. The product does not execute trades or hold cryptocurrency for users.
Blockchain data and derived metrics may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Classifications and calculations depend on assumptions and may change. Past performance and simulated results do not predict future results. You are responsible for your investment decisions and should obtain independent advice where appropriate.
To the extent permitted by law, the early-access service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, error-free information or suitability for a particular purpose. Nothing excludes a warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of US$100 and the fees you paid us for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
For business users, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost business opportunities or loss of goodwill. For consumers, we remain responsible for loss that was reasonably foreseeable from our breach, subject only to limitations that are lawful in your jurisdiction.
These limitations do not apply to fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. They do not restrict statutory privacy remedies or mandatory consumer guarantees.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or removes mandatory consumer rights.
8. Term, suspension and termination
These Terms apply while you use the Site. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, abuse, security risks or legal requirements. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us. You may stop using the service at any time and request account closure.
Ending access does not affect rights and obligations already accrued. Provisions concerning ownership, privacy, liability and disputes continue to the extent their nature requires. Account deletion and retention are described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Location-specific rights
Mandatory rights under applicable consumer and privacy laws remain unaffected. The Privacy Policy describes rights that may apply to users in the EEA, UK and US states. The Service is available to adults worldwide where lawful. Availability does not waive rights under the mandatory laws of your country. California residents may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs, 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or (800) 952-5210.
10. General
Fees. The current implementation has no paid subscription or billing flow. Any future paid offering must disclose prices, billing and cancellation terms before you agree to pay.
Changes. We may update these Terms. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes and obtain renewed agreement where required by law, rather than treating silence as consent in every jurisdiction.
Governing law. Wyoming law governs these Terms, without applying its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, you retain mandatory protections under the law of your habitual residence.
Legal compliance. Use the service in accordance with applicable laws, including applicable export and sanctions rules.
Electronic communications. We may send authentication, invitation, security and service messages electronically. Waitlist signup does not itself authorise unrelated marketing.
Accessibility. Contact [email protected] to report an accessibility issue.
Entire agreement and severability. These Terms and any expressly agreed additional service terms form the agreement concerning use of the Site. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision does not waive it. Assignment must not reduce mandatory consumer rights.

11. Dispute resolution
Please contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve a concern. This does not restrict your statutory rights, access to a regulator, or ability to seek urgent relief.
Disputes may be brought in the state courts in Natrona County, Wyoming, or the federal courts for the District of Wyoming, subject to applicable jurisdiction rules. Consumers may also use courts and other remedies available under mandatory local law. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive jury-trial or class-action rights.
